Hi all,
I'd never heard of Vernon Kilns or Fiestaware before now but thought this bright orange teapot so striking, they all leapt out at me,i couldn't resist them & made in the USA, not often seen in the UK. I was surprised to see they hadn't sold in another shop.
A large teapot, jug & plate.
Does anyone here know how old they might be?
They all have signs of age wear & the dish three stilt marks.
They appear to be, & were bought as, a set but all 3 have different marks on the base. The tray the jug sits on has a Vernon Kilns, early Cailfornia stamp. The teapot an impressed 'fiesta' with what looks like a small case 't' above it & 'made in USA' on the base. & The jug an HLCo (for Homer Laughlin Co. Thanks Tom:) USA.
Does anyone know if these marks can help to date them?
Thank you
