Here I have a very attractive Bombay Company silver cheese stand with a lovely dome glass lid.
It's made in India.
It measures approximately...
7 3/4 inches in diameter
9 1/2 inches tall
It was very gently used. There are no dents or dings in the metal. Only a few minor scratches here and there. But mainly only on the tray area where the cheese sits.
There are a few tiny little chips along the edge of the lip of the glass lid.
The previous owner cleaned the silver with Wright's Silver Cream. As you can see, in photo #4, the polish ended up getting on the edge of the black fabric on the bottom. I'm not sure how to clean that off. I'm also not sure what to use to clean the food surface area before placing food on it. I want to find small doilies to fit on top the flat surface under the dome lid. I actually purchased this to display cookies, muffins and cupcakes in.
