I found this cool Tiki ( it was a great week for Tikis) mug a couple of weeks ago. at GW. It is from "The Tikis" a kitshy club in Monterey Park California. The place has been described as an amusement park with alcohol. Sitting on about 12 acres..it's had everything.
The mugs were made by Otagiri.. the makers of much fine ceramic schlock from Japan between 1958 - 1994
Ahhh...those WERE great times
