It's just what it says; a homemade wedding cake. And yes, that is Goku and Chichi on top. My husband and I are both very big dorks, and we both enjoy the Dragonball series.
It's a 4 layer cake, and each layer is a different flavor (chocolate, red velvet, etc.) This cake was made entirely by hand, and the chef was my husband's grandmother. And my opinion? It was much more delicious than any cake we could've gotten from some bakery. His grandma is definitely an amazing cook, especially to be able to create this! She even made all the icing and glass candy all herself.
Even the cake toppers (which I chose) have special meaning to us, especially since the groom topper is dressed in white. My husband is in the Navy, and he chose to wear his uniform at our wedding. Since we were married in late August, he was wearing his dress whites.
Smashing cake in each others' faces was priceless. XD But, as I already said, we feel that this was the perfect cake for our wedding. Not only did it save a huge chunk of money, but it tasted amazing, too.
