Here are two, meat carving sets that I've had for awhile now. The cases and handles are made of wood and the designs appear to be hand carved. They have brass hardware. The knife and the fork slide into the body and snap into place with the brass rod. You then push down on the latch to pull out each piece. The longest one measures almost 19 inches total, with the knife and fork inserted. They are stamped "INDIA." The one at the bottom of the picture is actually used. I don't use them. I just like the looks of them. No idea how old they are, but they seem to have a little bit of age to them.
